Herrenweide
Coordinates: 49 ° 49 ′ 50 ″ N , 8 ° 14 ′ 42 ″ E
The Herrenweide nature reserve is located in the Mainz-Bingen district in Rhineland-Palatinate .
The approximately 22 hectare area, which was placed under nature protection in 1990 , extends southwest of the local community Friesenheim along the Selz . The state road 425 runs not far to the east and the federal road 420 to the north .
The area, which in the LSG is "Selztal", includes a region of Selzniederung showing natural stream, wood stocks, high perennial line , hay meadows, wet fallow and reeds and ground damp arable land.
