Garden meadow

The Gartenwiese nature reserve is located in the Mainz-Bingen district in Rhineland-Palatinate .
The approximately 40 hectare area, which was placed under nature protection in 1990 , extends northwest of the local community Schwabenheim an der Selz along the Selz . State road 428 runs not far to the east .
The area, which is in the LSG "Selztal", includes an area of the Selz lowlands with a natural stream, alluvial forest relics and other woody stands. This includes head trees, still water , reed beds and wet fallow and predominantly moist and temporarily flooded grassland and arable land.
