Amad Diallo Traoré (born July 11, 2002 in Abidjan ) is an Ivorian football player who is under contract with the Italian first division club Atalanta Bergamo .

Career

Amad Traoré, born in Abidjan , came to Italy in September 2014 at the age of 12 , where he joined the Boca Barco youth team from Bibbiano . There he was the youngest player to score at a junior tournament and aroused the interest of various top clubs during his time at the amateur club. In the summer of 2015, the offensive player switched to the youth team from Atalanta Bergamo , where he also emerged as one of the greatest talents of the year. For the U17 team, he scored 12 goals this season in 27 appearances in the 2017/18 season and was runner-up. In the following season 2018/19 he played more for the Primavera and scored 18 goals as a winger in 42 competitive games for U17 and U19. With the Primavera he won the U19 championship with a 1-0 final win against Inter Milan .

In the 2019/20 season he played regularly for the U19s, but was also appointed to the men's team for the first time in October 2019. On October 27, 2019 (9th matchday) he made his debut in a 7-1 home win against Udinese Calcio in the top Italian division , when he came on for Josip Iličić in the 77th minute and scored the last goal of the game six minutes later.

Personal

Amad Traoré's older brother Hamed is also a soccer player and is currently under contract with the first division club US Sassuolo Calcio .
