Amphoe Chiang Khwan ( Thai : อำเภอ เชียง ขวัญ ) is a district ( amphoe - administrative district) in the province of Roi Et . The province of Roi Et is located in the northeast region of Thailand , the so-called Isan .

Neighboring districts are (from north clockwise): Amphoe Pho Chai , Selaphum , Thawat Buri , Mueang Roi Et and changhan district of the province of Roi Et and Amphoe Rong Kham District of Kalasin Province .

history

The "Branch District" ( King Amphoe ) Chiang Khwan was established on April 30, 1994 from six tambon , which were separated from Thawat Buri County .

On May 15, 2007 the Thai government decided to raise all 81 King Amphoe to simple amphoe status in order to unify the administration. With the publication in the Royal Gazette "Issue 124 chapter 46" on August 24, 2007 this decision officially entered into force.

  • Mu Mon (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล หมู ม้ น ) consisting of the complete Tambon Mu Mon.
