Amphoe Nong Hi ( Thai : อำเภอ หนอง ฮี ) is a district ( amphoe - administrative district) in the province of Roi Et . The province of Roi Et is located in the northeast region of Thailand , the so-called Isan .

geography

Amphoe Nong Hi borders the following counties (clockwise from the south): Phon Sai , Suwannaphum and Phanom Phrai in the province of Roi Et, and Sila Lat in the province of Si Sa Ket .

history

Nong Hi was initially set up on April 1, 1995 as a “branch circle” ( King Amphoe ) by separating the three tambon Nong Hi, Sao Hae and Duk Ueng from the Amphoe Phanom Phrai .

On May 15, 2007 the Thai government decided to raise all 81 King Amphoe to simple amphoe status in order to unify the administration. With the publication in the Royal Gazette "Issue 124 chapter 46" on August 24, 2007 this decision officially entered into force.

There is one municipality with "small town" status ( Thesaban Tambon ) in the district:

  • Nong Hi (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล หนอง ฮี ) consisting of the complete Tambon Nong Hi.

There are also three " Tambon Administrative Organizations " ( องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - Tambon Administrative Organizations, TAO):

  • Sao Hae (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล สาว แห ) consisting of the complete Tambon Sao Hae.
  • Duk Ueng (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ดู ก อึ่ง ) consisting of the complete tambon Duk Ueng.
  • The council (Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล เด่น ราษฎร์ ) consisting of the complete tambon Den Rat.
