Amphoe Moei Wadi ( Thai : อำเภอ เมย วดี ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district) in the north of the province of Roi Et . The province of Roi Et is located in the northeast region of Thailand , the so-called Isan .

geography

Moei Wadi District borders the following counties (from the east clockwise) to the Amphoe Nong Phok and Phon Thong province Roi Et, at Amphoe Kuchinarai the province of Kalasin and to Amphoe Nong Sung of the province of Mukdahan .

history

Moei Wadi was initially set up as a "branch circle" ( King Amphoe ) on April 1, 1978 , by separating the two tambon Moei Wadi and Chumphon from the Phon Thong district . On November 3, 1993, it was promoted to Amphoe.

Local administration

There are four municipalities with "small town" status ( Thesaban Tambon ) in the district:

  • Moei Wadi (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล เมย วดี ) consisting of the complete tambon Moei Wadi.
  • Chumphon (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ชุมพร ) consisting of the complete tambon chumphon.
  • Bung Loet (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล บุ่ง เลิศ ) consisting of the complete tambon Bung Loet.
  • Chom Sa-at (Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ชม สะอาด ) consisting of the complete tambon Chom Sa-at.
