Amphoe Mueang Phitsanulok ( Thai อำเภอ เมือง พิษณุโลก ) is a district ( Amphoe - Administrative District) in the Province of Phitsanulok . The Phitsanulok Province is located in the northern region of Thailand . The city of the same name Phitsanulok is the capital of the district and the province.

Phitsanulok County is about 380 kilometers north of Bangkok , with a total area of ​​750.8 km² (469,250 Rai ). The Mae Nam Nan (Nan River) flows through Phitsanulok and flows through the west of the province from north to south.
