Anita Lenti (born February 18, 1965 in Hungary ) is a Hungarian triathlete living in Switzerland .

Career

Anita Lenti started for five years for Hungary as a triathlon professional on the short distance until 1993, then paused for a few years and since 2004 has started again in competitions for the Swiss Koba Tri team and the Hungarian club Mogyi SE .

Anita Lenti won the Ironman Malaysia in the W40-44 category in 2009 and thus secured a starting ticket for the Ironman Hawaii (Ironman World Championships).

In 2010, Lenti won the Ironman China in the W45-49 class and became the Aquathlon World Champion in the same class in Budapest in September. On the occasion of the Ironman Hawaii, Lenti took third place in her category a month later.

In 2011 Lenti became the long-distance triathlon European champion (W45-49) in Tampere, Finland.

In 2012 Lenti was in the age group W45-49 on the middle distance, Challenge Kraichgau , and the long distance, Challenge Roth , triathlon European champion.

In 2013 she was runner-up in aquathlon in her age group in London.

On the occasion of the Aquathlon World Championship and the Sprint World Championship in 2015, she finished fourth in the W50-54 class in Chicago. Since 2019 she has been contesting international competitions again.

Anita Lenti is a sports teacher at the Eschen and Vaduz high school and lives in Werdenberg .
