Anna Rupprecht (born December 29, 1996 ) is a German ski jumper who competes for SC Degenfeld . She lives in Schwäbisch Gmünd .

Career

Rupprecht started ski jumping at the age of six and has been working for her home club SC Degenfeld since 2002. She was 17th at the German Championships 2007 in Meinerzhagen . Since August 10th, 2008 she has been seen irregularly in the Continental Cup and got her first COC point with 30th place on her debut. At the German Championships in Oberhof in 2008 , she became German champion and jumped fifth place in the team competition with Ramona Straub as Baden-Württemberg III . In 2009 she became the German school champion. At her first Junior World Championships in 2010 in Hinterzarten she finished ninth, at the OPA Games 2010 in Eisenerz she won the gold medal and a year later the bronze medal. At the German Championship 2010 in Oberhof she was able to secure the gold medal ahead of Ulrike Gräßler and Melanie Faißt .

At her second Junior World Championships in 2011 in Otepää , she jumped to 11th place. In 2011, she was the overall winner in the Ladies Cup in the pupil category and was German pupil champion. At the German Championships 2011 in Meinerzhagen, she finished seventh. On January 7, 2012, she made her debut in the World Cup in Hinterzarten , finished 46th and 48th and missed the second round. In the further course of the World Cup season it was no longer used. At the German Junior Championships 2012 in Hinterzarten she jumped to fifth place and also to fifth place for the women. In the 2012/13 Alpine Cup season she was 17th in the first competition in Einsiedeln and in the second competition she climbed to fifth place. In Winterberg she reached ninth and fourth place.

At the Junior World Championship in Almaty , Anna Rupprecht and her teammates Henriette Kraus , Pauline Heßler and Gianina Ernst won gold in the team competition. In individual jumping she was disqualified because the skis were too long. In the ski jumping World Cup, she made it onto the podium for the first time in the 2016/17 season with third place on Lysgårdsbakken in Lillehammer . On February 9, 2019, she won a World Cup competition for the first time in the team competition on the Logarska dolina in Ljubno, Slovenia, together with Carina Vogt , Juliane Seyfarth and Katharina Althaus . At the World Championships in Seefeld , Rupprecht finished 24th in the individual.

Rupprecht is out for the 2019/20 season after suffering a meniscus tear and cartilage damage in summer .
