Anne Titze

Anne Titze-Göhl (born June 1, 1972 in Darmstadt as Anne Titze ) was the most successful German speed skater until she retired from competitive sports in 2002 . She won world and European championships and the World Games .

Career

Anne Titze was born on June 1, 1972 in Darmstadt as the second child. She initially lived in Seeheim an der Bergstrasse . She went to school in Seeheim-Jugenheim until she graduated from high school in 1991. She completed the subsequent diploma course in sports science at the University of Frankfurt in 1996 in the main diploma examination as a certified sports scientist (Univ.) With distinction.

After completing her studies, she worked, among other things, at the Powerslide sporting goods distributor and as a sports training manager for the K2 Skate College . She works u. a. as a health promoter in various areas.

She has been married to Andreas Göhl since 2001, lives in Lauf an der Pegnitz and has two children.

Career

Anne Titze ran speed skating (roller-skating and inline) from 1979 to 2002, initially with the RSV Seeheim club, and from 1982 with Blau-Gelb Groß-Gerau. At the age of 15, she was nominated as a junior for the active class, which was otherwise only reserved for runners in the active class (18+) due to her performance, contrary to the rules of the German Rolling Sports Association that were in force at the time . At this EM , she achieved an A-squad place, which she kept until the end of her career. She has been in the German national team every year since 1986 and has been the most successful German speed skater with 3 world champions, 5 European champions and 2 World Games titles. She won a total of 53 medals at European Championships, World Championships and World Games.

Titze is 49 times German champion and won 28 runner-up championships. In 1999 Titze won all half and marathons in Germany in which she started, including

  • German Inline Cup, Konstanz (German half marathon champion)
  • Alberto-Marathon, Berlin (best time of 1:09:32 h and marathon world record women flat road)
  • Hamburg-Mannheimer Cup (fastest time)
  • Cologne Ford Marathon

  • 2000: Badge of honor of the German Roller Sport and Inline Association (DRIV) in gold
