Another Perfect Day is the sixth studio album by the British heavy metal band Motörhead . It was released on June 4, 1983 and was the band's last studio album for Bronze Records and the only one with Brian Robertson .
backgrounds
Guitarist Eddie Clarke left the band during the tour of the previous album Iron Fist . He was replaced by Brian Robertson (ex- Thin Lizzy ), whom Lemmy Kilmister had known for several years. Motörhead went to the recording studio with him in March 1983 to record Another Perfect Day . Robertson took part in the songwriting of a large part of the songs , which was reflected in a more melodic guitar work compared to the albums previously recorded.
During the Another Perfect Tour there was tension in the band because Robertson refused to play old Motörhead tracks. At a concert in Hanover, Robertson wanted to play the theme song of the album Another Perfect Day three times in a row . Robertson was kicked out of the band in November 1983.

Reviews
The contemporary reviews were mixed, the fans did not like the album and accused the band of pursuing commercial interests with the album. The album was later described by both fans and critics as "a largely undiscovered gem" and later became one of Kilmister's favorite albums. Allmusic's John Franck describes Another Perfect Day as a “unique (albeit misunderstood)” Motörhead album.
