Motörizer is the 19th studio album by Motorhead . The German publication took place on August 29, 2008.

Emergence

The album title goes back to drummer Mikkey Dee , who invented it years ago. However, it has not yet been considered as a title. The album was recorded mostly in Dave Grohl's 606 Studio in Los Angeles . At number 5, it is the second highest entry into the German charts for the band after the previous studio album Kiss of Death . Singer Lemmy Kilmister advertised the album on Bruce Dickinson's Friday Rock Show radio show on BBC 6 Music .

Cover

The illustration on the album cover is in the form of a crest association designed - with a coat of arms , which in heraldic crossing the arms borne by the countries of origin of two of the band members, namely from England ( Lemmy ) and Sweden (Mikkey Dee), and the flag of Wales for Phil Campbell . The fourth element of the shield is Snaggletooth , Motörhead's mascot. The artist of the cover is Mark De Vito.
