In this regard, he also took part in the first Central German Championship organized by the Association of Central German Ball Game Clubs . The final held on March 17, 1902 in Leipzig , however , was lost 3: 6 against SC Wacker Leipzig , champions of the district of North West Saxony. In the following season he won the championship in the Gau Ostsachsen, after the playoff for first place against Mittweidaer BC with equal points 6-0 in Dresden was won. The final reached again for the Central German Championship was lost on May 3, 1903 in Dresden with 0: 4 against VfB Leipzig . This constellation also arose in the 1903/04 season, whereby the final meeting originally scheduled on June 5 and again on June 19, 1904 - with a resolution of June 23, 1904 - was no longer scheduled due to a deadline and therefore no longer held. The third championship in Gau Ostsachsen could only be won with the again necessary play-off for first place against Mittweidaer BC, which was won 4-2 on April 16, 1905. The final held on April 21, 1905 in Leipzig against Halleschen FC 1896 , was now won 3-2 in the third attempt. With this success he was qualified with the Dresdner SC as a participant in the final round of the German championship. In his first final game, the quarter-finals he won 5: 3 against SC Victoria Hamburg on May 28, 1905, he scored the goals for 1: 1 and 2: 1 within five minutes. The semi-finals held in Leipzig on June 4th were lost 2: 5 against BTuFC Union 1892 . The final, which was last reached on April 8, 1906, did not find a winner because he had not started with his team. In the following seasons he won the East Saxon Championship five times with the team.
