Arno Neumann (born February 7, 1885 in Dresden , † March 7, 1966 in Radebeul ) was a German football player .

Career

Neumann belonged from 1900 to 1925 to the Dresdner SC as a right winger , for which he played from the 1901/02 season in the city ​​championship organized by the Dresden Ball Game Clubs in the first class and won it. In this regard, he also took part in the first Central German Championship organized by the Association of Central German Ball Game Clubs . The final held on March 17, 1902 in Leipzig , however , was lost 3: 6 against SC Wacker Leipzig , champions of the district of North West Saxony. In the following season he won the championship in the Gau Ostsachsen, after the playoff for first place against Mittweidaer BC with equal points 6-0 in Dresden was won. The semi-finals held in Leipzig on June 4th were lost 2: 5 against BTuFC Union 1892 . The final, which was last reached on April 8, 1906, did not find a winner because he had not started with his team. In the following seasons he won the East Saxon Championship five times with the team.

National team
