Arp 67 = UGC 892 is a bar-spiral galaxy in the constellation Cetus , which is about 236 million light years away from the Milky Way. At the end of its spiral arms, the galaxy has two smaller objects of high surface brightness ( SDSS J012117.42-003311.7 and SDSS J012119.16-003309.0 ) ( Arp 67 ).
Halton Arp organized his catalog of unusual galaxies into groups according to purely morphological criteria. This galaxy belongs to the class spiral galaxies with a small companion of high surface brightness on one arm (Arp catalog) .
