Assfuck song is a song by the rapper Sido . It was released on May 20, 2002 as the fifth track of Aggro Ansage Nr. 1 , a label sampler of the independent label Aggro Berlin . The song, for which a video was shot, was also released as a single on August 9, 2004 because of its great success . As such, it reached number 63 in the German single charts .

Background & origin

Assficksong is, according to Sidos, the only song he ever wrote at home and not in a recording studio . At the time, the song only served as a provocation . Sido later makes it clear that it was less about his own sexual preferences and more about "pure punkism ".

Sido further states that he wrote the song in 2001, before he was signed by Aggro Berlin in 2002. Accordingly, he named a statement by the then label boss of his previous record company Royal Bunker , Marcus Staiger , regarding the alleged lyrical one-dimensionality of Sido's former formation Alles ist die Sekt , which would have been limited to "drinking, smoking pot and throwing up" in an interview with him as motivation. Sido then wanted to offer him a song that would actually correspond to this picture. The spoken intro and outro of the song were therefore addressed to him.

Sido created a dubplate of the ass fuck song with DJ Tomekk , which he played in the trendy clubs and Sido's song "TOMEKK" began with the words "Look at his outfit and he has the very first ass fuck song with him."

Text content

The text is told from a first-person perspective. The performer introduces himself as "Jiggi Siggi of the Jiggy Brothers". After two samples , one by Keith Murray from Call My Name and one by Masta Ace from his track Born to Roll , the first verse begins with a description of how the lyrical self got into anal intercourse . The hookline of the track consists only of a repeatedly repeated "Da dadada daaaaada, Da dadada daaaaada". The second stanza follows as a battle verse , a nameless rapper is lyrically raped, first anally penetrated, then forced to have oral sex . In the third verse, the protagonist explains his preferences and techniques for anal sex and offers his skills to the lyrical you.

Text and music come from Sido, who gives the pseudonym Jiggi Siggi as the composer.

Music video

The accompanying video shows a live performance of the song with B-Tight as the backup rapper. The first stanza is sung a cappella and the beat starts with the second stanza. Sido, without his characteristic mask at the time, dances with a woman while rapping. The video appeared on the DVD Aggro Announcement DVD # 1 , which was approved by the voluntary self-regulation of the film industry with an age rating of 16 years. Since the Federal Testing Office for Media Harmful to Young People (BPjM) does not act if the FSK has determined an age rating under 18 years, neither the song nor the sampler Aggro Announcement No. 1 was indexed .

The single contains six different versions of the song as well as a live video.

reception

Commercial win

Due to the growing popularity of the song, which started Sido's career along with Mein Block , the song was released on August 9, 2004 as a single under the title Arschf * cksong . This reached number 63 in the German charts.

criticism

With Sido's growing success, Arschficksong garnered increased media attention and far-reaching criticism, which mostly dealt less with the musical quality of the song than with its lyrics. In the public discussion about a possible “sexual neglect” of the youth, the song was identified several times as a co-trigger for this. The journalist Theresa Bäuerlein named the song in an article for the feminist magazine Emma as an example of rap titles calling for “violence against women”. Even Alice Schwarzer publicly criticized that the song of "classic torture" handle. In particular, the SPD - politician Monika Griefahn asked for the song that they constituted a particularly reprehensible example of misogynistic and violent Rapvideos, a broadcasting ban as it as in an article in the taz made clear to distinguish young people hard for song and reality. The Alliance 90 / The Greens -Politiker Omid Nouripour called the Arschficksong "simply disgusting".

The writer Klaus Farin , on the other hand, differentiated from the Focus that “hideous texts do not automatically have a hideous effect” and in this context pointed out the need to deal with them. The former Royal Bunker label boss and journalist Marcus Staiger even described the assfuck song in 2008 in an interview with the star as an “ode to homosexual love”.

Aftermath

The assfuck song is one of the best-known Sido songs, not least because of the long-standing discourse about the song, and achieved lasting popularity, so that it remained a regular part of Sido live concerts years after its publication. In contrast, even years after the song was published, Sido was constantly confronted with the title in interviews.

Felix Brummer , singer of the rock group Kraftklub , stated in an interview that he heard the assfuck song in his youth and that songs like this were "[s] a punk " in relation to his parents .

Later positioning of the artist on the work

Sido himself distances himself a little from the song today. Immediately after his breakthrough, he emphasized that he would not have written the ass fuck song in his later life. He sees the song as the work of a young savage who still had to prove himself. On his Best of #Beste , published in 2012 , for which he claims to have put together his “personal favorites”, he decided not to publish the song because it would not fit into the overall picture. At the same time he continues to play the ass fuck song regularly at the end of his concerts, which is mainly due to the continued high demand from his fans.

Ass fuck song in other songs

Several other artists allude to Sido's ass fuck song in songs .

The rapper Eko Fresh mentions the song in his 2005 published Disstrack Die Abrechnung in the line of text "Sido, you think I'm beautiful, I'm used to it with girls / The one with the ass fuck song a bit mysterious" ..

Also in 2005 Azad played with the song Banana 2 of the collab album One with Kool Savas on the assfuck song, in which he rapped "You get your assfuck but without a song".

In 2008 Marteria , together with his alter ego Marsimoto, published the song Todesliste , on which the fictional character Jack Hate blames numerous German rappers for their own and social problems for various reasons. For Sido it contains the line of text "The ass fuck song means that little girls are at risk of AIDS". In addition to the Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome , AIDS also abbreviates Sidos Rapformation Alles ist die Sekt .

On the remix of the song Seniorenstatus , which was originally published by Sido and Samy Deluxe as a hidden track in the outro of the 2010 Sido album Aggro Berlin , Liquit Walker raps based on the refrain of the assfuck song “Da dadada daaaa da - look the Viagramann ".

In the song Poo Tang Clan from the 2014 album Crackstreet Boys 3 by the rap group Trailerpark , Alligatoah quotes the ass fuck song text line “People notice, we talk about shit all the time”.
