Career

society

Artur Kotenko began his career in 1992, where he played for a year in the youth team of FC Puuma . It wasn't until 1998 that he signed his first professional contract with KSK Vigri Tallinn . There he was not a regular player and in 1999 moved to city rivals FC Lantana Tallinn . There, too, he was not used regularly and moved to Kauhajoen Karhu a year later . Further stations were FC Levadia Tallinn , which was then still called FC Levadia Maardu , and JK Vaprus Pärnu . In January 2001 he went back to FC Levadia Tallinn, where he made his sporting breakthrough. He won the Estonian Football Supercup in 2001, as well as the Meistriliiga in 2004 , 2006 and 2007 . After 142 league games and a league goal, he left the club in December 2007 for Norway to Sandnes Ulf . After only a year he left the club and completed a two-week trial training session at the English club Nottingham Forest . However, there was no change. He then signed a contract with Viking Stavanger on February 9, 2009 . He made his league debut on October 25th, but had to leave the field with a red card after just 25 minutes after he had played the ball outside the 16-meter space by hand. In July 2010 he moved to the Cypriot club AE Paphos , where he signed a one-year contract with an option for another year. In July 2011 he left the Mediterranean island of Cyprus and switched to the Azerbaijani first division club FK Ravan Baku in August 2011 . The current contract was terminated in October and after four assignments in the Premyer Liqası . In January 2012 he signed a contract with FF Jaro from the Finnish Veikkausliiga until the end of the season . In 2013 he signed with Dnjapro Mahiljou from Belarus for one season and then moved within Belarus to Shachzjor Salihorsk . He stayed there until February 2017, after which he moved back to his home country, this time to JK Trans Narva . From there it went on to FC Levadia Tallinn in 2019 .
