Atlas of Immovable Cultural Monuments of China

The Atlas of immovable cultural relics of China ( Zhongguo Wenwu ditu ji ) is a from the State Bureau of Cultural Heritage ( Guojia Wenwu ju ) issued after the etc. Chinese provinces , divided into single volumes, since September 1989 published in several Chinese publishers Chinese book series to the immovable cultural monuments (Buildings, monuments, graves, historical sites, etc.) in the People's Republic of China .

Its thirty-one volumes, some of which consist of two or three sub-volumes, each include the cultural monuments of the individual Chinese provinces / autonomous regions / cities directly related to the government.

The atlas is a result of two major national surveys carried out in the 1950s and 1980s. It is a comprehensive reference work with modern and historical maps, maps of cultural monuments arranged by type, maps of cultural monuments in certain administrative areas, and color illustrations of important cultural relics. It also contains overviews of local cultural relics from different eras, descriptive texts on specific cultural relics, a foreword and table of contents (also in English) and a practical index for each volume.
