The Heidelberg motorway junction (abbreviation: AK Heidelberg ; short form: Kreuz Heidelberg ) is a motorway junction in Baden-Württemberg , which is located in the Rhine-Neckar area . This is where the federal autobahn 5 ( Hattenbacher Dreieck - Frankfurt am Main - Basel ) and the federal autobahn 656 ( Mannheim - Heidelberg ) intersect , which runs in the direction of Heidelberg as a yellow autobahn ( B 37 ).
