The motorway junction Weinheim (abbreviation: AK Weinheim ; short form: Kreuz Weinheim ) is a motorway junction in Baden-Württemberg , which is located in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region . Here the federal highway 5 ( Hattenbacher Dreieck - Frankfurt am Main - Basel ) crosses the federal highway 659 , which later merges into the federal highway 38 in an easterly direction .
geography
The cross lies in the area of the city of Weinheim . It is located about 65 km south of Frankfurt and about 10 km northeast of Mannheim not far from the state border of Baden-Württemberg and Hesse on the edge of the Bergstrasse , which extends from Heidelberg to Darmstadt . Surrounding larger towns are the city of Viernheim and the community of Heddesheim .
The Weinheim motorway junction is number 33 on the A 5 and number 1 on the A 659.
