Axel Hilgenstöhler

Axel "Ax" Hilgenstöhler (born August 21, 1975 ) is a German music producer and guitarist . Among other things, he is a founding member of the band Thumb and played guitar in various bands, such as Dog Eat Dog and 50 Cent . In 2003, Afrika Islam and Axel Hilgenstöhler founded The Machine .

Life

Ax enjoyed an early musical education. He toured with bands from an early age. In 1993 he founded the band Thumb together with Steffen Wilmking (drums) . Thumb toured Europe and the US. Ax toured with Son Goku in 2002, The Machine in 2004, and Mr. X and Machine in 2006 .

Ax was a co-discoverer and sponsor of young artists such as Clueso .

In 2007, Ax became a guitarist for Dog Eat Dog . He spent the next few years touring internationally.
