Bördeaue is a municipality in the Salzlandkreis in Saxony-Anhalt . It belongs to the Egelner Mulde community .

The community was created on January 1, 2010 from the voluntary merger of the communities Unseburg and Tarthun .

The merger takes place against the background of the municipal area reform in Saxony-Anhalt and the minimum number of 1000 inhabitants in municipalities that belong to an association municipality, as stipulated in the accompanying law.

Blazon : “Square of red and gold; Field 1: a silver castle with two tinned towers, a black gate opening, a black window in each of the towers and tinned sloping side walls over blue water with silver wavy lines, field 2: a pigeon tower with blue pillars, a silver half-timbered house with black beams and supports and blue tent roof, crowned by a stemmed blue ball, field 3: a blue wavy bar, field 4: a silver miner's bullet. The quartered shield contains the coat of arms of the town of Unseburg in field 1, the coat of arms of the town of Tarthun in field 2, in field 3 a blue wavy bar based on the location on the Bode and in field 4 the miner's toughness (mallets and iron) with reference to mining that has continued to the present day.

The colors of the church are white - red.

The coat of arms was designed by the Magdeburg municipal heraldist Jörg Mantzsch and, following a decision by the municipal council on February 4, 2010, was included in the approval process.
