Börnchen is a district of the Saxon community of Bannewitz in the district of Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains .

geography

Börnchen is a small street tangerine village that stretches in an easterly direction from the ridge of the Karsdorf Fault ( Lerchenberg , 420  m above sea  level ) towards Wilmsdorf . His district consists of a won-like forest hides hallway .

The Rundteil settlement is located 500 m southeast of the center of the village, on federal road 170 , where the inn of the same name also exists.

The place is about 380  m and is in the foothills of the Eastern Ore Mountains . The Poisenbach rises in Börnchen and flows into the Weißeritz in Deuben .

history

Börnchen was first mentioned in a document in 1312 . The name is derived from Born in the sense of source . The village belonged largely to the care or to the office of Dresden . From 1875 to Amtshauptmannschaft Dresden properly, Börnchen was in 1952 part of the circle Freital . The manor was at the manor Kleincarsdorf .

In 1970 Börnchen was incorporated into Possendorf , which on January 1, 1999 became part of Bannewitz. Börnchen was and is parish to the parish of Possendorf.

On December 31, 2012, the borough of Börnchen had 232 inhabitants.
