The Civil Position ( Ukrainian Hromadjanska posyzija ) is a political party in Ukraine . It was founded in 2005 under the name Mighty Ukraine (Ukrainian Mohutnja Ukrajina / Могутня Україна ). The party got its current name in February 2010.

In March 2012 the “ Ukrainian Party ” merged with the Bourgeois Position. Ihor Nassalyk , chairman of the Ukrainian party, became deputy chairman of the reorganized party.

The party ran under its chairman, the former Defense Minister of Ukraine Anatoly Hryzenko, in the parliamentary elections in Ukraine in October 2014, but was unable to win a direct mandate and only 3.10% of the votes cast, and thus did not get into the Verkhovna Rada .

In June 2016, the Civil Position became part of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe .
