The Bad Kissinger Hütte is the Alpine Club hut of the Bad Kissingen section of the German Alpine Club .

location

The hut is located in the Allgäu Alps on Austrian soil, on the south-western slope of the Aggenstein , only 50 meters from the German-Austrian border .

history

The hut was first mentioned on October 1st, 1880 in a document in which the town of Vils is stated as the owner. Since 1889, the hut has belonged to the Falkenstein Pfronten section and thus became an Alpine Club hut . In 1957 the hut was sold to the Ludwigsburg section. In 1994 it took over the current owner, the Bad Kissingen section.
