The Frankfurt am Main Messe station is a S-Bahn stop on the Homburger Bahn in the Frankfurt district of Bockenheim in the middle of the Frankfurt exhibition center . The station is part of the Station Category  4 and opened in 1999 to serve as exhibition station Messe better to the public transport system to connect (PT). It consists of two platform tracks, which are located on a central platform. To erect the platform , the distance between the tracks had to be increased in a complex process. To do this, the street next door had to be relocated and a bridge rebuilt.

The platform is connected to the trade fair foyer via escalators , so that trade fair visitors can get directly from the train to the entrance area of ​​the trade fair (only open during trade fair events). The two other entrances, which can be used at any time, have stairs and elevators that enable barrier-free access. There are no ramps, but the southern entrance is equipped with an inclined elevator .

Connection

The station is only of S-webs of the lines S3, S4, S5 and S6 operated. The intercity and regional trains run on the parallel Main-Weser-Bahn . There are no platforms here.
