Basilius Köhler (* in Altenberg ; † unknown) was Kreuzkantor in Dresden from 1586 to 1589 .

Little is known about Köhler's circumstances. The son of pastor Basilius Köhler was working as a schoolmaster in Graupen when he was called to Dresden . He had not applied for the position himself, but was appointed by the Dresden City Council.

Köhler took over the position of Kreuzkantor as successor to Kaspar Füger in 1586. Just three years later, Köhler asked to be dismissed from the position, which he received with an extremely positive assessment of his performance. Nothing is known about his further life.

Two younger brothers Köhler were Esaias Köhler (pastor in Heynitz; † 1623) and Johann Köhler (pastor in Glaucha; † 1626).
