Belvedere di Spinello is located 33 km northwest of Crotone on the foothills of the Sila Mountains . The districts are Belvedere and Spinello. The neighboring communities are Casabona , Castelsilano , Rocca di Neto and Santa Severina .

history

The place was founded in 1471 by the Greek Count Giorgio Paleologo Assan together with his brother Tommaso. In 1863 the place got its current name.
