Ben Mee (born September 21, 1989 in Sale ) is an English professional footballer who plays as a defender for the Premier League club Burnley FC .

Career

Mee started his career as a professional footballer with Manchester City . He made only one League Cup match for them before going on loan to Leicester City and Burnley FC. On January 17, 2012, he was signed by the then English second division FC Burnley for an unknown transfer fee. Since then he has played over 200 competitive games for the club and is now also the team's captain.

He played for the English youth teams from U19 to U21.
