The Diocese of San Francisco de Asís de Jutiapa Francisco ( lat. : Dioecesis Jutiapensis ) is in Guatemala situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Jutiapa .
history
Pope Francis established the diocese on January 25, 2016 from cessions of territory from the diocese of Jalapa . It comprises from 17 Municipios existing Departamento Jutiapa . Antonio Calderón Cruz was appointed first bishop on the same date .
