history
The Diocese of Naviraí was on June 1, 2011 by Pope Benedict XVI. built with the Apostolic Constitution Summi Nostri from cessions of territory of the Diocese of Dourados and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Campo Grande as a suffragan . First Bishop was Ettore Dotti CSF .
The diocese Naviraí includes the Municipalities Naviraí , Anaurilândia , Angélica , Bataguassu , Bataiporã , Eldorado , Iguatemi , Itaquiraí , Ivinheira , Japorã , Jateí , Juti , Mundo Novo , Nova Andradina , Novo Horizonte do Sul , Paranhos , Sete Quedas , Tacuru and Taquarussu .
