Jateí , officially Portuguese Município de Jateí , is a small town with a large municipality in the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso do Sul .
geography
location
The city is located 288 km from the capital of the state ( Campo Grande ) and 1267 km from the state capital ( Brasília ). The city borders Novo Horizonte do Sul in the northeast, Taquarussu in the east, Naviraí in the south, Juti in the west, and Glória de Dourados and Vicentina in the northwest.
Jateí was located in the Iguatemi microregion of the south-west mesoregion until 2017 , and from 2017 in the Região geográfica imediata Dourados of the Região geográfica intermediária Dourados .
