Anastácio is a city in the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso do Sul in the mesoregion Pantanal-Süd and the microregion Aquidauana . Around 24,500 inhabitants (2013) live in Anastácio on an area of ​​2,949 km ². The city is bounded by the municipalities of Aquidauana, Bonito , Dois Irmãos do Buriti , Miranda , Nioaque and Maracaju .
