Miranda , officially Portuguese Município de Miranda , is a city in the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso do Sul . As of July 1, 2018, there were an estimated 27,795 inhabitants in Miranda, who are called Mirandenses ( mirandenses ). The area of ​​the municipality is around 5475 km².
