Deodápolis , officially Município de Deodápolis , is a city in the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso do Sul in the south-west mesoregion in the Iguatemi microregion .

The city is located 266 km from the capital of the state ( Campo Grande ) and 1400 km from the state capital ( Brasília ). The city borders in the north on Rio Brilhante , in the south on Glória de Dourados and Fátima do Sul , in the east on Ivinhema and Angélica and in the west on Dourados .
climate
The city has a tropical mountain climate ( Cwa ).
Waters
The city is under the influence of the Río Paraguay and the Rio Paraná , which belong to the river system of the Río de la Plata .

The area is part of the Mata Atlântica (Atlantic Rainforest).
