The Bokelholm fish ponds are a nature reserve in the Schleswig-Holstein community of Emkendorf in the Rendsburg-Eckernförde district .

The approximately 90  hectare nature reserve is registered under number 49 in the directory of nature reserves of the Ministry of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Areas. It was expelled at the end of 2009 (date of regulation: September 22, 1952). The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the Rendsburg-Eckernförde district.

The nature reserve is located between Rendsburg and Neumünster, southeast of Bokelholm on the edge of the Westensee Nature Park . It places a fish pond area under protection. The former fish ponds form an extensive wetland area with open water areas, Verlandungs zones and humid orchids item. For maintenance, the orchid meadows are mowed once a year in order to push back emerging bushes.

The largely developed Reidsbek, a tributary of the Wehrau , flows through the nature reserve, which branches off around 500 meters above the nature reserve from the Mühlenau and flows into the Wehrau almost 3.4 kilometers below the nature reserve.

The area bordering the Neumünster – Flensburg railway line to the west is intersected by a road. It is supervised by the Independent Schleswig-Holstein Landscape Board of Trustees - Association for Nature Conservation and Landscape Management.
