Boris Borissowitsch Rotenberg ( Russian Борис Борисович Ротенберг , Finnish Boris Borisovitš Rotenberg ; born May 19, 1986 in Leningrad ) is a Finnish - Russian football player .

Career

society

Rotenberg played for the HJK Helsinki until 2002 . In 2002 he moved to FC Jokerit . After this was taken over by the HJK Helsinki in 2004, he played from then on for the resulting club Klubi 04 .

For the 2006 season he moved to Russia to Zenit Saint Petersburg . In his five years as a Zenit player, however, he did not come to any appearances for the club's first team. For the 2008 season he was awarded to Schinnik Yaroslavl . His only game for the club in the Premjer League , he completed in July 2008, when he came on on the 13th match day of that season against Krylja Sowetow Samara in the 85th minute for Damian Gorawski . In August 2008 he was awarded to Saturn Ramenskoje , but where he did not get any assignments.

In the 2009 season he played on loan for FK Chimki . For Khimki he completed 13 games in the top Russian league that season. However, he rose with the club as the bottom of the table from the Premjer League. In 2010 Rotenberg was awarded to Alania Wladikawkas . For Wladikawkas he completed 15 games in the Premjer League in the 2010 season, but had to be relegated as the penultimate club with this club from the top division.

In January 2011 he finally left Zenit and moved to FK Dynamo Moscow . After he had not played in his first year at Dynamo, Rotenberg was awarded a six- month loan to FK Kuban Krasnodar in January 2012 . However, he was not used by Kuban either.

For the 2012/13 season he moved to Cyprus on loan to Olympiakos Nicosia . For Olympiakos he completed 13 games in the First Division that season , from which he was relegated with his club at the end of the season. After the loan ended, he returned to Dynamo Moscow in the summer of 2013, for which he finally played his first game in September 2013 against Urals Sverdlovsk Oblast .

Rotenberg played his first international game for Dynamo in October 2014 when he was brought into play for Mathieu Valbuena in stoppage time in the Europa League group match against GD Estoril Praia . In August 2015 he switched to league rivals FK Rostov on loan . At the end of the 2015/16 season he had 15 league appearances for Rostov, in which he remained without a hit.

Rotenberg moved to Lokomotiv Moscow in August 2016 . In his first season at Lokomotiv he won the cup with the club . In the 2017/18 season he was champion with the club. That season he came to seven appearances in the Premjer league.

National team

Rotenberg made his debut for the Finnish national team in June 2015 when he started a friendly against Estonia and was replaced by Mikko Sumusalo at half-time .

Personal

His father is the oligarch Boris Romanowitsch Rotenberg . In 2013 he became president of FK Dynamo Moscow , where his son was under contract at the time.
