Roßberg is a locality in Oberpinzgau in the state of Salzburg and belongs to the municipality of Neukirchen am Großvenediger in the Zell am See (Pinzgau) district .

geography

The Roßberg is located about one kilometer in the Salzach Valley west of Neukirchen , above Rosental and the Venice settlement . It is located on the south at the foot of the Steinkogel  ( 2299  m above sea level ) of the Kitzbühel Alps , on the left - north, sunny - side of the valley. It extends between Dürnbach valley and Trattenbachtal .

The Roßberg includes the Baxrain, Brandl, Grub and Seerain farms , the Buasen , Venedigerhof and Rechtegg inns , as well as a farm in the Trattenbachtal and the Steineralm in the Dürnbachtal. The 100 or so houses all have the addresses Roßberg .

The districts are connected via the Dürrbachgraben street , which branches off from Gerlos Straße (B165) in a northerly direction.
