Brandyn Curry (born February 10, 1991 in Huntersville , North Carolina ) is an American basketball player . After studying at Harvard University in his home country, Curry became a professional basketball player and won the 2015 Dutch championship as "Finals MVP " in his rookie season in Europe . Curry then played in the 2015/16 basketball league for the German first division club Eisbären Bremerhaven, before competing for the Slovenian champion Helios Suns Domžale since the 2016/17 season .

Career

After graduating from Hopewell High School in his hometown, Curry received a scholarship from Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts . Here he played from 2009 for the high school team Crimson in the Ivy League of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), where in his first season later NBA pro Jeremy Lin was his teammate when the Crimson in the postseason for the first time CollegeInsider- Tournament (CIT). Here the Crimson were eliminated in the first round as well as a year later at the premiere in the National Invitation Tournament (NIT) 2011.
