The Brookville Township is one of 24 townships in Ogle County in the north of the US -amerikanischen state of Illinois .

Brookville is located in northern Illinois around 50 km south of the Wisconsin border . The Mississippi , which forms the border with Iowa , is about 40 km to the west.

Brookville Township is located to the west of Ogle County and is bordered by Carroll County to the west . Within Ogle County, Brookville Township is bordered by Forreston Township to the north, Lincoln Township to the east, Buffalo Township to the southeast, and Eagle Point Township to the south .

US Highway 52 runs through the southwest of the township . Illinois State Route 64 runs north of it in a west-east direction . All other roads are county highways as well as subordinate and partly unpaved roads.
