Eagle Point Township is located in northern Illinois around 60 km south of the Wisconsin border . The Mississippi , which forms the border with Iowa , is about 40 km to the west.

The Eagle Point Township is located in the extreme southwest of Ogle County and is bordered to the south by Whiteside and to the west by Carroll County . Within Ogle County, Eagle Point Township is bordered to the north by Brookville Township , to the northeast by Lincoln Township , to the east by Buffalo Township and to the southeast by Woosung Township .
