The Oregon-Nashua Township is one of 24 townships in Ogle County in the north of the US -amerikanischen state of Illinois . In 1993 the Oregon Township and the Nashua Township merged.

The Oregon-Nashua Township is located in northern Illinois on both sides of the Rock River around 150 km west of Chicago . The Wisconsin border runs approximately 60 km north; the Mississippi , which forms the border with Iowa , is 75 km to the west.
The Oregon-Nashua Township Township is located at 41 ° 57'47 "north latitude and 89 ° 19'11" west longitude and extends over 102.56 km², which is spread over 99.45 km² of land and 3.11 km² of water .
The Oregon-Nashua Township is located in the southern center of Ogle County and borders the Rockvale Township in the north, Marion Township in the northeast, Pine Rock Township in the east, LaFayette Township in the southeast , Taylor Township in the south , to the southwest to Grand Detour Township , to the west to Pine Creek Township and to the northwest to Mount Morris Township .

Illinois State Route 2 , which runs along the right bank of the Rock River, runs through the township . In the center of the township, Illinois State Route 64 branches off to the east . All other roads are county highways as well as subordinate and partly unpaved roads.
A railway line of the BNSF Railway runs through the Oregon-Nashua Township in an east-west direction and goes west from Chicago . In Oregon , a branch line of the Illinois Railway branches off from this line to Mount Morris .
The nearest airfield is Ogle County Airport at Mount Morris , about 2 km northwest of the township ; the nearest major airport is Chicago Rockford International Airport, around 35 km northeast, on the southern outskirts of Rockford .
