The Budweiser Events Center is a multifunctional arena in the US city ​​of Loveland in the state of Colorado . The arena offers a maximum of 7,200 seats and was opened in September 2003 with a preseason game for the Colorado Avalanche ice hockey team .

Usage history

The arena has been the home of the Colorado Eagles since 2003 , who played in the Central Hockey League (CHL) until 2011 and were accepted into the ECHL for the 2011/12 season . The arena is the venue for numerous other events such as concerts , family shows and other sporting events . The hall has been the home of the Colorado Ice (today: Colorado Crush ), a team from the Indoor Football League (IFL) , since 2006 . From 2003 to 2006 the hall was also the venue of the Colorado Chill , a team of the National Women's Basketball League (NWBL) and from 2008 to 2009 the Colorado Lightning from the Professional Arena Soccer League (PASL). In addition to wrestling show fights, the Harlem Globetrotters basketball show games and rodeos are held in the arena . Well-known musicians such as Rod Stewart , David Bowie , Snoop Dogg and Nelly performed in the Budweiser Events Center.

For the ECHL All-Star Game to be held on January 23, 2013 during the 25th anniversary season of the league, the arena was awarded the contract to host the event.
