The 1999/2000 season was the eighth regular season of the Central Hockey League . The eleven teams completed 70 encounters each in the regular season . The Central Hockey League was played in two divisions . The team with the highest points in the regular season was the Fayetteville Force , while the Indianapolis Ice won the Ray Miron Cup for the first time in the play-offs .
