The 2008-09 season was the 17th regular season of the Central Hockey League . The 16 teams completed 64 games each in the regular season . The Central Hockey League was played in four divisions . The team with the highest points in the regular season were the Colorado Eagles , while the Texas Brahmas won the Ray Miron President's Cup for the first time in the play-offs .
