Christian Völk (born October 14, 1977 in Lahn - Gießen ) is a German ice hockey player who was last under contract with SC Riessersee from the 2nd Bundesliga .
Career
Völk began his career in the 1997/98 season at EV Füssen in the third-class first division . In his debut season he scored 14 points in 30 games, but switched to league rivals EC Atlantis Ulm / Neu-Ulm for the next season in 1998/99 , where he moved to the new club after only eleven games for the second division ERC Ingolstadt during the 1999/2000 season 2. Ice Hockey Bundesliga changed. Here he could not convince and moved to the top division TSV Erding for the 2001/02 season . Shortly before the end of the season, Völk moved to the Munich Barons in the DEL , where he made three appearances before the season was over. The new 2002/03 season began for Völk at the Hamburg Freezers in the DEL, before he moved to the Heilbronn EC in the 2nd Bundesliga ice hockey after only 16 games , where he ended the current season and another year, with the meanwhile in Heilbronner Falken renamed Heilbronner EC, ran aground. For the 2004/05 season he received a contract with SC Bietigheim-Bissingen .
After a less than successful season with only five points after 44 games, Völk moved back to the top league , this time to the ETC Crimmitschau , with which he made it to the 2nd ice hockey Bundesliga for the 2006/07 season . The 2005/06 season was also the strongest season on points for Völk so far, with which he had significant success in the rise of the ETC Crimmitschau. In the 2006/07 season he was unable to repeat his success, which is why he for the season 2007/08 for SC Riessersee changed, for which he was one and a half seasons on the ice before it during the season 2008/09 again Oberliga EV Fussen changed . He also stayed here for only a year and a half before he moved to the 2010/11 season ice hockey league to the now relegated league competitor and old well-known, SC Riessersee. He contributed to winning the Oberliga championship with SC Riessersee after only one season in the third division and thus advancing to the 2nd Bundesliga .
In July 2011 it was announced that Völk had extended his contract with SC Riessersee, which will be playing in the 2nd Bundesliga ice hockey league in the 2011/12 season .
Christian Völk ended his career in April 2012.
