Chudoba ( German Eichborn ) is a place of Gmina Byczyna in the Opole Voivodeship in Poland .

Geographical location
Chudoba is located in the northwestern part of Upper Silesia in the Kreuzburger Land. The village of Chudoba is located about seven kilometers south of the municipality of Byczyna , about 13 kilometers north of the district town of Kluczbork and about 58 kilometers northeast of the voivodeship capital Opole .
To the northwest is the Biskupice koło Kluczborka railway station , a stop on the Kluczbork – Poznań railway line .

Neighboring towns of Chudoba are in the northeast Paruszowice ( Baumgarten ), in the north the municipality seat Byczyna ( Pitschen ), in the east Paruszowice ( Baumgarten ), in the south Sarnów ( Sarnau ) and in the west Kochłowice ( Kochelsdorf ).
history
Eichborn was a Vorwerk until 1945 and belonged to the village of Wilmsdorf .
As a result of the Second World War, Eichborn fell under Polish administration in 1945, like most of Silesia . Subsequently, the place was renamed Chudoba and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950 it was incorporated into the Opole Voivodeship. In 1999 the place came to the newly founded Powiat Kluczborski ( Kreuzburg district ).
