Pszczonki ( German Schonke , also Bezunka or Pzonke ) is a place of Gmina Byczyna in the Opole Voivodeship in Poland .

Geographical location
Pszczonki is located in the northwestern part of Upper Silesia in the Kreuzburger Land. The village of Pszczonki is located around nine kilometers southeast of the municipality of Byczyna , around 13 kilometers northeast of the district town of Kluczbork and around 59 kilometers northeast of the voivodeship capital Opole .

history
Schonke first formed a preliminary work for the Matzdorf estate before it became its own manor. In the 18th century Schonke was owned by Karol Henrik Joachim von Frankenberg.
In 1925 Schonke Castle was built for Helmut Lipinsky. His father bought the estate at the beginning of the 20th century. Until 1945 the place belonged to the district of Kreuzburg OS
As a result of the Second World War, Schonke fell under Polish administration in 1945, like most of Silesia . Subsequently, the place was renamed Pszczonki and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950 it was incorporated into the Opole Voivodeship. In 1999 the place came to the newly founded Powiat Kluczborski ( Kreuzburg district ).
Attractions
- The Castle Schonke was built in 1925 on behalf of Helmut Lipinsky. The two-story building was built in the neo-baroque and neoclassical style.
- The castle park was laid out in the English style at the beginning of the 20th century and redesigned in the mid-1920s. The park has been a listed building since 1978.
