The Communauté de communes Pays du Mont-Blanc is a French association of communes with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the Haute-Savoie department , whose administrative headquarters are in the town of Passy . It is located in the southeast of the department and includes the west side of the Mont-Blanc group . The topography varies greatly and extends from the wide valley floor of the Arve (at 515  m ) up to the eternal ice of Mont Blanc ( 4810  m ). The area of ​​the community association includes the high valleys of the Bon Nant and Arly . The community association consisting of ten communities was founded in November 2012 and replaced an older special-purpose association, the “Syndicat Mixte Pays du Mont Blanc”.
