The Communauté de communes Arve et Salève is a French association of communes with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the Haute-Savoie département , whose administrative headquarters are in Reignier-Ésery . Its territory extends from the east side of the Salève down to the middle valley of the Arve . The community association, founded at the end of 1993, consists of eight communities and has 18,266 inhabitants (as of 2012) on an area of ​​99.3 km 2 , its president is Louis Favre.

tasks

The competencies required include the development and promotion of economic activities and tourism as well as spatial planning on the basis of a Schéma de Cohérence Territoriale .
